Saundersfoot

Saundersfoot harbour
From "Stepping Stones", the nearest beaches are at the little harbour town of Saundersfoot, and there is usually plenty of parking space available on the harbour car park or in the car park behind the shops. The beaches here are excellent, wide, safe and sandy. The "Blue Flag" award means that dogs are not permitted on the main beach and it is safe for children to play here (Dogs are allowed on Glen Beach up to Monkstone Point). Saundersfoot is also a great place to visit in the evening. Its a friendly town with lots of varied eating places around the harbour area. For more information follow this link.

Amroth

Evening, Amroth beach
Amroth is the next village around the south Pembrokeshire coast after Saundersfoot. At low tide you can walk the shoreline from Saundersfoot, calling in at Coppet Hall, or Wisemans Bridge, and maybe stopping off at the Amroth Arms, or at the far end of the beach the New Inn, for refreshment, before returning over the cliff top walk back to Saundersfoot.
