"Stepping Stones" a super holiday home in South Pembrokeshire
The contract of hire is between the hirer and the owner of the property. By accepting these conditions the hirer agrees to the following:
- The property must be used by the hirer for holiday purposes only. The hirer shall not part with possession of the property, or share it, except with members of their party.
- On-line bookings made via the website are confirmed bookings when payment is received by the management company Whitehall Lodge Guest House.
- Provisional bookings can be made by telephone, letter or e-mail.
- Payments are accepted by credit or debit card, or by cheque. Please make cheques payable to "R.Keys".
- A 30% deposit will be required within 5 working days to secure a booking . Once we have accepted the booking, the hirer is liable for the balance of rent.
- The balance needs to be paid 8 weeks before the holiday start date. If the holiday start date is less than 8 weeks from the booking date then the full amount is due immediately.
- Cancellations must be notified by telephone and then confirmed in writing within 3 days . Every effort will be made to re-let the property. If following a cancellation we are able to re-let the property, we will refund an amount equal to the rent we were able to receive by re-letting less an administration fee of £55. If unsuccessful all payments made are forfeited. Holiday insurance to cover this eventuality is strongly recommended.
- The holiday let runs from 3 pm on the start date, to 10 am on the holiday end date.
- The hirer agrees that no person will smoke within the property.
- The hirer is responsible for the property and undertakes to take all reasonable care of it, to keep it secure and in a clean and tidy condition and to report any breakage or damage immediately to the owner and to make adequate payment to cover loss.
- The maximum number of people allowed is four and extra people cannot be accommodated. The owner reserves the right to terminate the agreement without notice and without refund for a breach of these conditions.
- The property owners or their representatives shall be allowed access to the holiday accommodation at any reasonable time during the holiday occupancy.
- Fresh bed linen is provided and beds are made up ready for your arrival. For 2 week bookings and longer, fresh linen is provided for each week of your holiday. Please note you will need to bring your own beach towels.
- Electricity, heating and hot water are available at all times at no extra cost.
- The garage may be used for a car, bikes and baby buggies. Please do not put bikes etc. inside the bungalow.
- The Contract for Hire is made on the understanding that the property and all its facilities as described in the brochure will be available for the dates stated. In the event that the property is not available through circumstances outside the control of the owner the booking may have to be cancelled and all monies refunded in full to the hirer. In this event the hirer shall have no further claim against the owner.
- The property should be left in the same clean and tidy condition it was found on your arrival. An additional cost will otherwise be incurred to cover the extra cleaning.
